World Context and Multinet team up to ship Pakistani data to US robotics labs
The startup collects real world visual data from Pakistani industry. Multinet will supply storage and bandwidth to move it abroad.

World Context, a Pakistani startup that gathers training data for robotics and AI, has partnered with infrastructure provider Multinet Pakistan. The Express Tribune reported the deal on 17 August 2026, citing a World Context press release.
World Context says it is building a data supply chain between Pakistani factory floors and the American robotics industry. It deploys sensors and maps local industry to build a growing library of real world visual data.
Multinet's part is the plumbing. The company will provide secure cloud and data centre capacity for storage, security and data transfer. It will use its fibre network to deliver datasets to robotics companies and research teams in the United States and elsewhere, according to the report.
“World Context is building a physical data layer atop legacy Pakistani industry & infrastructure.”
Khan said US and other frontier AI labs need a high standard of data hygiene, and that World Context will rely on Multinet for bandwidth and networking as it deploys more sensors. He described the aim as placing Pakistan inside the AI superintelligence supply chain, which has so far run mostly through American infrastructure.
Adnan Zaidi, CEO of Multinet Pakistan, said the partnership was an important step in connecting Pakistan to this emerging global value chain.
No financial terms, dataset sizes or timelines were disclosed, and the report did not name the cities involved. The pitch is that Pakistan can export something other than software services: raw, well organised data about the physical world, which AI developers increasingly need.
