Abhi Microfinance Bank plans PSX listing to raise up to Rs3 billion
The lender behind the Abhi earned wage access app is offering about 14 per cent of the bank to investors, and its draft prospectus is out for comment.

Abhi Microfinance Bank plans to list on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, aiming to raise between Rs2 billion and Rs3 billion. ProPakistani, citing a Bloomberg report, covered the plan on 30 July 2026.
The bank intends to offer about 14 per cent of its shares. Omair Ansari, a sponsor and director of the bank, said the money would strengthen its capital base so that its buffer stays above the State Bank of Pakistan's minimum requirement next year.
The draft prospectus went out for public comment on 4 August, according to Profit. It covers 132 million ordinary shares with a par value of Rs10, or 13.65 per cent of the post IPO capital. The shares will be sold by book building with a floor price of Rs15 and a price band of up to 50 per cent. Of the total, 75 per cent goes to book building and 25 per cent to retail and general investors. Arif Habib, Topline Securities and Growth Securities are lead managers. Comments were due by 10 August.
Abhi, the fintech known for earned wage access, owns about 75 per cent of the bank, and TPL Corp holds the rest. ProPakistani reported that Abhi bought the lender, formerly FINCA Microfinance Bank, about 18 months ago.
Mr Ansari said the bank lost up to $5 million a year before the takeover. He said it made more than $3.5 million in its first year under new owners and is on track for about $10 million this year. These are management figures and have not been independently checked. He also said the bank wants to expand into gold backed lending, look at a licence to tokenise gold and study a crypto payments corridor between Pakistan and the Middle East.
The bank has held a roadshow in London for domestic, frontier and emerging market investors. The final price and subscription dates were not published in the sources reviewed.
Reported from coverage in ProPakistani and Profit, with a Business Recorder report on the same plan.
