Credit bureau Tasdeeq lists on PSX after IPO oversubscribed 21 times
Tasdeeq Information Services, which serves banks, microfinance lenders and digital lenders, rang the gong at the Pakistan Stock Exchange on 24 August.

Tasdeeq Information Services, a licensed credit bureau, listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) with a gong ceremony on 24 August 2026. The exchange said it is the first licensed credit bureau in Pakistan to list, and Business Desk coverage on Nukta called it the first publicly listed credit bureau in South Asia.
The company offered 150 million ordinary shares through book building at a strike price of Rs3. The PSX said the offer was oversubscribed more than 21 times. The retail portion drew 11,358 applications and 21.68 times its allocation, with Rs2.4 billion in total participation, according to Nukta.
Another 69 million shares were placed earlier with pre IPO investors at Rs2.35. Together the shares were worth about Rs612 million, Nukta reported. Topline Securities, the consultant to the issue, said the strong retail demand led to the retail share being raised from 25 per cent to 35 per cent. Its chief executive, Mohammed Sohail, said this was a first in a Pakistani IPO.
“It is a privilege to welcome Tasdeeq Information Services Limited to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.”
Mr Sabzwari said it was the 11th listing of the calendar year and the third of the fiscal year, and that investor accounts at the exchange have passed 600,000.
Tasdeeq collects credit information on individual and commercial borrowers and supplies it to member lenders. That makes it part of the plumbing behind digital lending, because buy now pay later firms, microfinance banks and wage advance apps all need to judge who can repay. The company said it will keep supporting responsible lending by banks, microfinance institutions and digital lenders, and plans to expand its offering to consumers.
Reported from a PSX statement and coverage in Nukta.
