EduFi joins 500 Global's Sanabil accelerator in Riyadh
The Pakistani student lender was one of nine startups picked from more than 735 applicants for Batch 10, which EduFi describes as a seed round backed by 500 Global.

EduFi has been selected for the tenth batch of the Sanabil Accelerator by 500 Global, the Riyadh programme run by 500 Global with Sanabil Investments, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. The cohort was announced on 2 December 2025. Nine companies were chosen from more than 735 applications, with a demo day scheduled for 17 December, according to coverage by The Startup Scene and AI Journal.
The programme lists EduFi as offering buy now, pay later options for education, alongside eight startups in fields from QR payments to AI search. Amal Dokhan, managing partner at 500 Global MENA, said in the announcement: "We believe we are entering a new era of maturity in the ecosystem".
EduFi's own news page records the selection under the headline "EduFi Raises Seed Round Backed by 500 Global", with a Riyadh dateline. Neither the company nor the accelerator has disclosed the size of any investment, and the amount 500 Global commits to each participant was not stated in the announcements. The company, which raised a $6.1 million pre seed led by Zayn VC in November 2023 and won $250,000 at LEAP 2025 in February, now lists a Riyadh office on its website.
